• AFI Catalog: The American Film Institute’s complete list of American feature films from 1893-1972. It includes plot summaries, notes, full cast and production lists, and subject/genre indexing.

• FIAF International Index to Film Periodicals Plus: A combination of several databases, the main one being the International Index to Film Periodicals. The database offers in-depth coverage of the world's foremost academic and popular film journals from 1972 to the present.

• Film Index International:  In-depth indexing of numerous films - from the first silent movies to the latest blockbusters; and biographical information for personalities. Also covers international film awards and prizes as well as searchable plot summaries and full cast and crew lists. Produced in collaboration with the British Film Institute.
