Renewing
Renew in person at the Circulation Desk (bring the material with you) or online through your Library Account.
Remember to check your Library Account to ensure that all materials were renewed successfully and to make note of the new due dates.
Number of Renewals
Up to 5 self-renewals are permitted for most materials. Exceptions:
- Items signed out for a 120-day loan period: 1 renewal.
- Videos and video games: 2 renewals.
- Course reserves: No renewals.
Common Problems
- If a hold has been placed on an item you will not be able to renew the material. It must be returned to the Circulation Desk on or before the due date.
- If you have a library fine over $10.00 (for Carleton borrowers) or any fine (for outside borrowers) the system will not allow you to renew your materials.
